But as a result of a survey conducted by a teacher in a group, it turned out that not only children, but also adults, their parents, know little about the history of the holiday and its traditions, the traditions of celebrating the New Year in other countries. Therefore, we decided to learn as much as possible about it, as well as decorate the group for the New Year. It is no secret that it is most difficult for kids to wait, and even more so to wait for a holiday. Therefore, one of my tasks was to make this waiting fun, enjoyable and beneficial for children.
Objective of the project: expanding children's knowledge about winter, about the New Year holiday, the traditions of celebrating the New Year in different countries, about the symbols of the New Year.
Project objectives:
- to form an idea in children about the New Year holiday, about New Year's customs and traditions in different countries of the world;
- create conditions for children to consciously study the history of the New Year;
- promote the development of imagination, attention, memory and speech of children;
- arrange a mini-museum "Herringbone - beauty";

They do not need much sun, and they are not afraid of drought, and severe frost is not terrible. And the soil can be the poorest, infertile. In total, conifers on Earth are six hundred different species. And most of them live only in the Northern Hemisphere.

Spruce
Well, the spruce forest is dark! You can't see anything ten paces away. The sun's rays barely penetrate the thick needles. Each spruce needle lives for a long time - from five to seven years, then, dry, falls to the ground. And during this time, how many new ones will arrive! After all, every year there is fresh needles.
Spruce does not grow very fast. The Christmas trees that decorate our houses on New Year's Eve are twenty or even thirty years old. And those that sparkle with New Year's balls in city squares - maybe a hundred years old!
The cones of spruce are narrow and long, like carrots. The seeds are small and have wings. At the end of winter, when the snow melts and becomes covered with a crust of ice, the cones open. The winged seeds are picked up by the wind and along the snow crust they are carried away from their native tree, two or three kilometers away.
Young Christmas trees grow from seeds. Very soft and weak. In an open field, they can freeze. Only under the protection of mature trees, frost is not terrible for them.
