ABOUT THE ALBUM

The next creative milestone in the more than twenty years of the band's history is the new album "Only Lovers Left Alive", which premiered today, February 5, in collaboration with Sony Music.

The album contains 13 tracks.

The album cover is different from the previous ones. Everyone, without exception, who was able to see her yesterday, she struck with her frankness and depth of image. The leader of the group "Night Snipers" Diana Arbenina was completely naked not only in her soul...

Studio work on the album began in October 2014 and ended in August 2015 - at the same time the release date was announced.
On November 5, it became known that the international music label Sony Music would become the release company for the album.

The songs were recorded at the group's own studio "Night Snipers".

The album "Only Lovers Left Alive" is not like anything the "Snipers" have ever done, but its author's content has remained unchanged. Unique style: verified and, at the same time, lively, real, free style filled with meaning, frank as much as an artist can afford to be frank with his listener.

Prior to the release of the disc, three premieres of radio singles took place: "this is not a lot", "history" and "very wanted". All of them were featured in the "Chart's Dozen" hit parade on Our Radio and immediately got on the air on Moscow radio stations.

On February 4, a big press conference was held at the Mumiy Troll bar, followed by a surprise for the guests: "Snipers" played all 13 songs from the album.

"This is my most frank and coolest album about love ... I think some new story will start from this disc, because it is very different from everything that we did," says Diana Arbenina.

Throughout the album, the lyrical hero (the same “I”, which we will not attribute directly to the author) rushes in a love fever between “I feel a relationship” and “We are overgrown with tree bark”. The conflict is that he seems to be at a tipping point, leaving one and trying to cling to the other. The first song "Step" (already known to fans for a long time) is a dynamic, hysterical, sharp story of love confrontation.
