Games and competitions in the camp. Summer camp. Games, contests. Sherlock Holmes and Miss Marple

Autumn has already come, the time for vacations is over, and I have never written about gambling. There are a lot of impressions, only if they are not written down on paper (computer), then they are erased over time. And so I want to remember family trips with overnight stays in nature, trips to the village, exciting and, of course, sea adventures together with a group of children and, accordingly, spent funny contests for kids. Why adventure? Yes, because if there are children nearby, and even in large numbers (40 people), then you can’t just call it rest. Although I was just a vacationer and was only responsible for my two, I still tried to join the hectic life of such a “pioneer camp”.

Everyone knows that idle kids are like time bombs. Either there they didn’t reconcile something, then the furniture was damaged, then the flower beds. The owners of the private base only looked askance patiently and thought, probably, when it would all end. 40 children! A third for 9-10 years, a third for 12-13, a third for 14-15. We must pay tribute to all the workers of the "Stork on the Roof" base. We thank them for their patience and for the opportunity to improve our children's health!

Of the 10 days spent there, 2 evenings were occupied by relay-entertainment competitions. We had one leader, who had only to hint something, as she already picked up and carried out. A sort of energizer, a big clever girl!

So, what I will talk about in more detail today is about one of these evenings. The idea was mine, but the implementation was joint.

The evening consisted of two parts. Pre-prepared older children staged scenes that reminded them of their arrival, trips to the sea, the process of bathing and relaxing at the base. They took turns showing all this, and other children commented on what they saw. It was fun and very talented.

The second part was more designed for those children who did not participate in the skits, and there were about 20 of them. It was necessary for the team to complete all the tasks that needed to be found on the territory of the recreation center. To do this, I wrote down all the tasks in advance on pieces of paper and secured them with tape in the appropriate places. On each leaf, in addition to the task, there was a hint where the next one was hidden. In order not to get confused myself, I had to write competition script for children.

4. Compose a quatrain about the sea (Task 5 - on the gate).

5. Become in a circle. Take one common long rope in the hand of each participant. You will get a circle of children and a rope. The leader confuses the children and, accordingly, the rope. Free one participant (older in age) unravels (Task 6 - on the toilet doors).

7. Stuff the shuttlecock with a bungminton racket 10 times. Everyone will not be able to participate, so those who wish are involved in the competition (Task 8 - in the refrigerator).

8. Become in one row, back of the head to the back of the head. The first participant must roll the ball between the legs of everyone, and the last one must catch it (Task 9 - under the bar).

9. Say what you like the most in educators (Task 10 - on the kitchen door).

10. Congratulations! You responsibly approached the competitions and adequately completed all the tasks. Well done! That's all for today, see you next time!

Children with great passion completed all the tasks, and they searched for the text, and in general, you can stare. You stand so still, and they ran somewhere. Someone shouted "There" and everyone ran in the other direction. True, there was a share of fear: even if the doors were not broken off or the flower bed was not trampled, after all, there were more than 20 children! I advise you to unfold and read the text to give to the leader, otherwise the children read quietly and run to do something. As long as you don't give a loud briefing, nothing will come of it.

After such tasks, the children asked: “Will we still play like this?” and then the plan was ripe, but that's another story, the continuation of which will be in the next one. to the blog newsletter and be the first to know about the release of a new article on “Family fun”.

P.S. This scenario is suitable not only for big company children but also for adults, because every person in the game returns to childhood. Listen to Anton Lirnik's song and remember this wonderful time.

Summer camp is associated in children with fun and good mood Therefore, it is the task of adults to provide just such experiences. Correct selection events - the key to the success of the organization of the camp.

let's get acquainted

Anyone at summer camp necessarily includes an introduction. It is preferable to use elements of this kind in the holiday program psychological training. These can be exercises for remembering each other's names, recognizing the qualities of character and interests of all participants. Also well perceived by children are collective games or activities where it is impossible to get the desired result without the participation of at least one person from the detachment or team.

Acquaintance in the form of a sporting event implies just such team games. For example, the usual or "untangling the web" in most cases helps even unfamiliar children get closer. And this can be a guarantee of peaceful coexistence of vacationers until the end of the shift and minimization. The ideal option would be if, at the end of the event, most children remember each other by name.

How can we become friends

Conflicts, both minor and major, are completely inevitable. The main task of adults is to prevent them from flaring up and developing into a kind of war between the detachments or within them. Such cases are not uncommon, so an event for a summer camp for rallying comes to the rescue.

Unlike dating games, games and numbers in this category are already shifting the focus from the concept of "I" to the concept of "We". The detachments became small separate groups, with their own rules and traditions. Here you can offer such an event as "Treasure Search". Usually he is given the first half of the day, starting from the moment when the children are still sleeping. Educators collect a large number of sweets, fruits and other little things pleasant for children are put in a large bag and hidden in the camp. Next, you need to create a map with the designations of the places where the guys are waiting for the test. Such cards are made in the required quantity, one copy per squad. Here you can choose one of the options:

  • The map is divided into fragments, each of which gives a clue where to look for the next piece.
  • It is necessary to pass a certain test in order to get a hint on the treasure search route.

Here everyone is given the opportunity to prove themselves in the common cause of finding "treasures". Thus, the goal of uniting children is achieved.

What adults and children love

Undoubtedly, a children's summer camp offers vacationers relative freedom and independence. Here, children are transferred to a new environment where they can express themselves, meet, make friends and even fall in love. From time to time it is useful to spend recreational activities, where the atmosphere of fun and music reigns, of course, within the bounds of decency. Of course, we are talking about discos and similar entertainment holidays. Dance staging, song contests and pranks are appropriate at any time during the shift. They will dilute educational and sporting events.

Counselors must definitely participate in the games with the children, thereby confirming their involvement and interest in maintaining a positive atmosphere in the camp. It is better to organize karaoke, masquerades and other entertainments in the evening, after traditional security classes, and not make them strictly time-limited.

and others

Scenarios for summer camp events often include stage performances where the roles are distributed. This is especially true for themed holidays. A change in a summer camp necessarily provides for an event, dedicated to the day Neptune, Ivan Kupala Day, etc. The choice of this or that event depends on the type of camp and its organization, as well as, for example, summer school camp. Events dedicated to the water holiday are less spectacular and full-fledged. But sports holidays can be organized on a larger scale, with the active involvement of all children.

Play, have fun and… learn

Approximately in the middle of the shift, it is worth remembering a little school days and checking the knowledge of children, at the same time reminding them that study is just around the corner. In this case, activities for the summer camp dedicated to school subjects will be useful. Different kinds quizzes, games like “What? Where? When? ”, intellectual fights and competitions are an excellent opportunity to train memory and intellectual activity. For more active participation, children should be motivated by possible prizes, and one of the children of senior school age should be selected as a jury to evaluate the competitions.

We invite you to visit

In continuation of the theme of thematic events and subject quizzes, it is worth mentioning the holidays of professions or patriotic dates. They can be organized with the invitation of representatives of this profession, or those who can talk about a particular event. For example, celebrated at the end of July, you can imagine it as an evening of a military song, invite a serviceman to it - a representative of this Children will be interested to learn about the specifics of the profession and ask questions to the guest.

Sami with a mustache: children as adults

Goodbye, see you next summer

The closing of the camp should be marked by a grand celebration in order to emphasize the importance of the time spent here. A little sad, but a necessary event for a summer camp must be organized at the highest level. It is necessary to make maximum creative efforts and efforts so that the children remember the change as something amazing and positive. And subsequently wished to visit the camp again. Games and competitions on this day should not be like the rest detachment activities. At the summer camp, the shift is coming to an end, and here it is worth remembering everything good moments. It would be appropriate to organize a photo exhibition, performance of joint songs and dances, big psychological games, etc. An obligatory item of the program is the exchange of impressions. This traditional summer camp event is different in that it does not include team elements. In something akin to a discovery, it is based on the idea of unity and community of all vacationers.

Well, let's sum up. When choosing an event for a summer camp and compiling its scenario, first of all, you need to focus on the preferences of the guys. What kind of joy and positive can we talk about if the wards are not very interested in games and tasks? Creativity, imagination and ingenuity, combined with pedagogical skills, will help organize unforgettable days of summer holidays in a children's camp.

In the health camp, children remain children - and they want to play. Not only in pioneer ball, catch-up and other outdoor games, but also “in dolls”, “in the sand”, to craft something. There are many mobile games. And we have collected options for calm games and fun that do not require much physical activity and can be made from the simplest means. They are good both in a cozy camp and in their own house with a plot.

ON THE WALL
water wall. A tricky labyrinth is constructed from hoses and containers, through which water flows through obstacles.

music wall. All sorts of noise makers, rattles, things that can make interesting (but not disgusting!) sounds are attached to the stand. Bells, jars, pieces of wood, clay whistles, homemade xylophone. “Could you play the nocturne on the flute of the drainpipes?” Children can.

Exhibition wall. Figurines, funny crafts are attached to the wall, hung on strings (and not put on tables).

collage wall. Here everyone can carefully make a small picture, a story, a comic book about the past day, draw and cut out an animal figurine, etc. And glue it to the empty space. It's easier, faster, and more fun than the traditional art show or squad corners. And more beautiful than a wall, randomly painted and scribbled.

IN THE YARD
water bombs. Water is poured into small balloons. On a hot day, you can throw, catch.

water pinata- who will quickly hit a ball of water blindfolded. Such games are good on a hot day, if you have something to change into.

wooden town. From sanded pieces of wood, saw cuts, stumps, snags, you can create a city, castles, an obstacle course for toys and much more. The main thing is not to throw stumps.

Wooden constructor. If you file branches, you can make a funny constructor.

Jungle. We will seat toy animals on the branches, hang serpentine creepers, huge flowers, and rope ladders in a safe place. Let someone dress up as animals. We will hide a riddle for each animal, where to go next, to the prize. Then you can play, for example, Mowgli or Indiana Jones.

Butterfly house. Live butterflies are launched into a net stretched between two disposable plates. With label. Put a small piece of fruit in there.

cardboard zoo. From cardboard box we will make an "aquarium" with fish on strings. In another box, you can hang birds, animals, and arrange a competition for the definition.

Gnome Kitchen. Baking clay pies, making herb salads, decorating a sand cake with flowers and dyes, doing anything else for a dungeon dwarf party can be fun not only for toddlers but also for older kids. Just don't eat anything particularly appetizing.

labyrinth. Make a labyrinth of pebbles or drawn lines to walk like a snake, or play in some other way.

Bubble. We take a solution for soap bubbles (with glycerin) and blow it out with the help of unusual things: strainers, a fly swatter, a bunch of straws, we experiment.

Miracle Tent. Put up a bright tent or awning to arrange practical jokes, role-playing games, decorate it.

Pallets with sand. You can play animals in them, play situations, just dig around, fantasize, and also study psychology, ecology and even mathematics (like Pythagoras). And you don't have to bend like in a sandbox.

Twister on the grass. Stenciled circles are painted over with spray paint. Unlike oilcloth, such a twister does not wrinkle.

ON A WALK
Raven count. It is necessary to count or estimate how many elements - a crow in a flock, leaves on a branch, petals on a flower, ledges on a mountain. Who is faster, who is more accurate. It strengthens the eye muscles.

Indian Rumor. Competing teams close their eyes and fall silent. Everyone counts by ear how many birds sing, grasshoppers chirp, bees buzz, etc. Then discuss, report and compare the results.

natural treasures. Images of natural objects (minerals, plant parts, hidden small animal toys, etc.) are pasted onto the egg container. They need to be found, collected, decomposed. Whoever found everything is allowed to the next stage of the game.

Definition. Cards with images of plants (flowers, fruits, leaves) and animals (including insects, birds, footprints) are printed. With titles! Whoever finds it puts a tick. Several small teams ("elves", "hobbits", etc.) compete to find the most and remember the names.

ON THE BEACH
Turrets made of stones. Who can take a picture of the most unstable stone on top of the tower?

bean balls. Into two small nested balloons peas (or other cereals) are poured. The resulting colored balls are thrown at targets on the ground. If it breaks, peas will grow everywhere.

body painting. Painted with gouache, and then washed off into the sea. Much better than factory stickers.

Flying Dragons. We fly paper kites that you can make yourself in the workshop.

Petanque. popular in Western Europe the game. You need to throw your ball as close as possible to a small wooden ball "kochonet". This activity seems boring until you try it yourself.

Rock and sand garden. Make wooden combs with which to create a "reanji garden" on the beach with stones and sand labyrinths. Looks good if you start with a frame.

Sundial. Stick a stick or figurine, make divisions and note how the shadow moves. Depict with a special stone the moment when it is time to pack up and leave, otherwise you won’t force the children.

Figures from pebbles. We lay out mosaics of pebbles, as if they were pixels. You can take something with you that would serve as a frame for the picture (slats, canes), and paint the pebbles with gouache. The main thing is not to get burned in the sun, carried away by "pointillism".

DIY
Herbarium. You can make not a scientific herbarium (clumsy, with terrible roots and threads), but a decorative one: glue separately dried flowers, leaves on thick colored paper - and into the Diary of Memories. Make labels stylized.

Pinhole camera. Make from a box with a hole, close the back side with oiled paper and a curtain. Looks "magical".

Collection. Tiny natural objects are glued into the box: dried cicada, shells, dry flowers, straws, pebbles, etc. You can make a window of transparent plastic or take a transparent box from stationery.

boats. We make boats out of paper, shells, pieces of wood and launch them in a stream, lake, even in a basin. We arrange battles, who will blow whom away.

rainbow world. We paint all sorts of things: shells, leaves, pieces of wood, crafts, ourselves - with rainbow stripes.

chop pattern. Place a plant with bright flowers on a sheet of watercolor paper, cover with a paper towel, tap on top with a hammer. Get a bright print.

homemade paper. You can make your own paper in a mold - with the addition of dry flower petals.

You can find or invent a lot of similar fun. If only it was fun, beautiful, safe, and there was enough space for everyone to work and play.
