Travel Photographer Society Moments

Paris Photo - Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards

35AWARDS is an international photography award founded in 2015 by the founders of the professional photography community 35photo.ru. In the first year, 36 thousand people from 110 countries took part in the competition, and in 2016 the number of contestants exceeded 76 thousand. Photographers from any country are allowed to participate without restrictions. The main objective of the award is to create an objective vote based on the opinion of an audience of various competences. The voting will take place in 3 stages: the voting of the viewers, the voting of the 35PHOTO professional community consisting of more than 7 thousand full participants, and the voting of professional editors, based on the specific features of the photo in a particular nomination. The objectives of the award include the search for 100 the best works years in various categories. And since 2017 - the definition of the 100 best photographers of the year.

5. Big Picture Natural World Photography Competition

7. Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2017

Despite the humorous nature of the accepted pictures, the competition is held to draw attention to the problems of preserving the natural environment. Please note that photos of pets and wild animals in captivity are not allowed.

8. Dog Photographer of the Year
This annual international competition is hosted by the Kennel Club, the largest and oldest kennel club in England, founded in 1873. 10. Fine Art Photography Awards
The international competition is open to amateur and professional photographers who can showcase their creative work in 20 categories.

Reward: $3,000 to Professional Photographer of the Year; $2000 for Amateur Photographer of the Year.

11. Insight Astronomy Photographer of the Year
The world's largest astrophotography competition attracts amateur and professional photographers from around the world who compete in nine categories. 14th International Photo Awards
This prestigious competition covers a wide range of photography genres, from editorial and advertising to fine arts and sports. Applications are considered in different categories: professionals, amateurs and students. This is one of the largest competitions with a prize fund of over $22,000.

When to Participate A: Applications are accepted until the end of August.
Entrance fee : $15-35 per image, $30-60 per series depending on the nomination (professionals, amateurs or students).

23. Nikon Small World

Amateur and professional photographers submit over 50,000 of their best photographs to this international competition. The winners are announced at an annual ceremony in the Italian city of Siena. In the same place, the best photographs are exhibited at an exhibition called "Beyond the Lens".

Entrance fee : Up to 3 images can be submitted for €15 (€10 for photographers under 20).

27. Sony World Photography Awards
For more than a decade, Sony and the World Photography Organization have been running this competition in Professional, Open, and Youth categories.
