Articulation gymnastics Compiled by: speech therapist teacher Kozyreva Tatyana Dmitrievna MKDOU kindergarten "Fairy Tale", Taishet

Organs of the articulatory apparatus For clear articulation, strong, elastic and mobile speech organs are needed - tongue, lips, soft palate. Articulation is associated with the work of numerous muscles, including chewing, swallowing, mimic; the process of voice formation occurs with the participation of the respiratory organs (larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs, diaphragm, intercostal muscles). Thus, speaking of special speech therapy gymnastics, one should keep in mind the exercises of numerous organs and muscles of the face, mouth, neck, shoulder girdle, and chest.

We correctly pronounce various sounds both in isolation and in the speech stream, thanks to good mobility and differentiated work of the organs of the articulatory apparatus. The accuracy, strength and differentiation of these movements develop in the child gradually, in the process of speech activity. In the process of a preliminary speech therapy examination, violations in the structure of the organs of the articulatory apparatus are often found. Work on the development of the main movements of the organs of the articulation apparatus, at the initial stage, is carried out in the form of articulatory gymnastics for the development, clarification and improvement of the main movements of the organs of speech. Articulatory gymnastics is a set of special exercises aimed at strengthening the muscles of the articulatory apparatus, developing strength, mobility and differentiation of the movements of the organs involved in the speech process.

Instructions for conducting articulation gymnastics 1. Articulation gymnastics is carried out daily for 3-5 minutes several times a day: a) in kindergarten with a speech therapist during individual lessons b) in a kindergarten with a teacher and independently; c) with parents at home. 2. Articulatory gymnastics is performed, standing or sitting in front of a mirror, with mandatory observance correct posture. 3. It is necessary to achieve a clear, precise, smooth execution of movements. 4. At first, articulation movements are performed slowly, unhurriedly, but gradually, as they are mastered, the pace of articulation gymnastics increases. 5. The complex of articulatory gymnastics is steadily becoming more complex and expanding due to newly selected exercises with a speech therapist. 6. Each exercise is performed 5 to 20 times. The number of repetitions increases as articulatory motor skills improve in parallel with an increase in the rate of movements. 7. It is possible and desirable to perform articulatory gymnastics under the count, to the music, with claps, etc.

“The steamboat is buzzing” We bite the tip of the tongue with incisors, lips in a smile and pronounce the sound Y (then L) for a long time.

Reasons for doing articulation gymnastics: Thanks to timely articulation gymnastics and speech hearing development exercises, some children themselves can learn to speak clearly and correctly, without the help of a specialist. Children with complex speech disorders will be able to overcome their speech defects faster when a speech therapist starts working with him: their muscles will already be prepared. Articulatory gymnastics is also very useful for children with correct, but sluggish sound pronunciation, about whom they say that they have "porridge in their mouths." Articulation gymnastics classes will allow everyone - both children and adults - to learn to speak correctly, clearly and beautifully.

An important role in the formation of sound pronunciation is played by a clear, precise, coordinated work of the articulatory organs, their ability to quickly and smoothly switch from one movement to another, as well as to maintain a given articulatory posture.

Therefore, the elimination of disturbances in the operation of the articulatory apparatus and its preparation for the production of sounds are of paramount importance.

The main purpose of articulatory gymnastics is the development, strengthening and improvement of articulatory motor skills.

  • Articulation gymnastics is carried out daily for 3-5 minutes several times a day:
  • a) in a kindergarten with a speech therapist during individual lessons
  • b) in kindergarten with a teacher and independently;

    c) with parents at home.

    2. Articulatory gymnastics is performed, standing or sitting in front of a mirror, with the obligatory observance of the correct posture.

    3. It is necessary to achieve a clear, precise, smooth execution of movements.

    4. At first, articulation movements are performed slowly, unhurriedly, but gradually, as they are mastered, the pace of articulation gymnastics increases.

    5. Each exercise is performed 5 to 20 times. The number of repetitions increases as articulatory motor skills improve in parallel with an increase in the rate of movements.

    6. It is possible and desirable to perform articulatory gymnastics under the count, to the music, with claps, etc.

Smile, with tension exposing closed teeth

"Smile"

"Tubule" Lips and teeth are closed. With tension, stretch your lips forward with a tube. Hold them in this position for a count of five. “FOOTBALL” Close your mouth, press the tip of your tongue with tension on one or the other cheek so that “balls” puff up under the cheek. "WATCH" Smile, open your mouth. Transfer the tip of the tongue to the count of "one-two" from one corner of the mouth to the other. The lower jaw remains motionless. "SWING" Smile, open your mouth. At the expense of 1-2, alternately rest your tongue on the upper, then on the lower teeth. The lower jaw is immobile. "BRUSHING TEETH" Smile, open your mouth. With the tip of the tongue, “clean” the lower, then the upper teeth from the inside, making tongue movements to the right and left. The lower jaw does not move. "DELICIOUS JAM" Smile, open your mouth. With a cup-shaped tongue, lick the upper lip from top to bottom (you can anoint it with jam). The lower lip should not fit the teeth (you can pull it down with your hand). "MALYAR" Smile, open your mouth. With a wide tip of the tongue, stroke the sky from the teeth to the throat. The lower jaw should not move. "SAIL" Smile, open your mouth wide, lift the tip of your tongue and put it on the tubercles (alveoli) behind the upper teeth. Hold the tongue in this position for a count of up to eight, then up to ten. Lower the tongue and repeat the exercise 2-3 times. "KISK IS ANGRY" Smile, open your mouth. Rest the tip of the tongue against the lower teeth. At the expense of "one" - bend the tongue with a slide, resting the tip of the tongue on the lower teeth. On the count of two, return to the starting position. At the same time, the tip of the tongue should not come off the lower teeth, the mouth does not close. “CUP” Smile, open your mouth, put a wide tongue on your lower lip, bend the side edges of the tongue in the shape of a cup. Hold for a count of five. The lower lip should not fit over the lower teeth. "FUNGUS" Smile, open your mouth. Suck a wide tongue to the sky. This is the mushroom cap, and the hyoid ligament is the stem. The tip of the tongue should not tuck in, lips should be in a smile. If the child fails to suck the tongue, then you can click the tongue, as in the Horse exercise. In clicking, the desired movement of the tongue is captured. Thank you for your attention!
