Master class "Scrapbooking postcards for Teacher's Day"

Age: 11 years old.

Supervisor: Nazmutdinova Tatyana Stanislavovna, labor instructor of the KhMAO-Yugra Rehabilitation Center for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities “Solnyshko”, a branch in Yugorsk.

Purpose: for children of primary and secondary school age.

Target: Making a postcard with your own hands for Teacher's Day.

Tasks:
- to develop children's interest in paper art;
- learn how to make postcards with your own hands using the scrapbooking technique;
- to develop the desire to make postcards for teachers with their own hands;
- to cultivate gratitude to the teacher.

Postcard 1 in quilling technique

the basis for the postcard (a sheet of thick paper); colored double-sided paper (yellow, orange, green, red and beige or ready-made quilling strips) and cardboard; scissors; a simple pencil, ruler, PVA glue, glue stick; brush, toothpick (quilling tool); figured punchers, ink pads, the inscription "Happy Teacher's Day" (an element of journaling).

1. Fold the sheet for the base of the postcard (21x15 cm) in half. Cut out a rectangle (the background of our postcard) from beige paper (or another one at your discretion) 0.5-0.8 cm smaller in length and width of the future postcard. Glue.

2. Cut out narrow curved strips from brown cardboard - rowan twigs, glue.

3. Draw colored paper into strips of 0.5 cm (in our case: red - along the length of the sheet, all the rest - along the width) and cut.

4. Strips of yellow, green and orange colors with a toothpick (or a special device) twist into a free spiral (twist and release on the table so that it disperses), then glue the end. Then we form the shape of the eye. We make a tight spiral from red stripes, immediately glue the end.

For our postcard, we made 6 orange leaves, 5 green and yellow, and 17 berries.
5. Glue the leaves and berries on the postcard.

The number of berries and the color of the leaves on the branch is up to you. Another variant.

6. Congratulations can be handwritten or printed on a printer. Let's use the second option. Add autumn leaves made with curly hole punches.

7. Cut out the inscription "Happy Teacher's Day" with curly scissors (printed out on a printer), tint the edges with an orange ink pad. Glue on the front side of the postcard.

The first quilling postcard is ready!
You can choose a different background color.

Postcard 2

Required materials, tools and fixtures: the basis for the postcard (a sheet of thick paper); wallpaper scraps (postcard background), colored paper and cardboard; scissors; simple pencil, ruler, glue - pencil; silicone stamps and ink pads, acrylic block, figured punchers, the inscription "Happy Teacher's Day" (an element of journaling).

Manufacturing sequence
1. Fold the sheet for the base of the postcard (21x15 cm) in half. Cut out a rectangle (the background of our postcard) from trimming wallpaper or colored cardboard, 0.5-0.8 cm less in length and width of the future postcard, and glue it.

2. Cut out rectangles of 6.5x5 and 7x3.5 cm from colored cardboard.

Glue them on thick white paper, taking into account the edging of 0.3 cm on each side, draw (+ 0.3 cm on each side) and cut out. Tone the edges of the postcard, the details of the rectangles and the element with the inscription with an ink pad of the selected color. Since the pad is 4-colored, we use a piece of foam rubber.

3. We decorate the inside of the postcard. From green paper, cut out a rectangle according to the size of the background of the postcard, glue it. With the help of an acrylic block, stamps and an ink pad, we make out.

Add leaves cut out with a figured hole punch.

4. Congratulations can be handwritten or printed on a printer. Let's use the second option. Adding autumn leaves.

6. We return to the design of the front side.
We glue the prepared elements, add autumn leaves. Our second postcard for our beloved teacher is ready!

Postcard 3

2. Glue the background of the postcard. Edges toned.

Thinking about what to please professional holiday favorite teacher? Prepare a scrapbooking surprise for him!

Congratulations on, decorated in such an interesting style, it will be a pleasure for every teacher to receive.

To create a scrapbooking card, you will need paper or cardboard with an unusual texture and print, scissors, a pair of black buttons with a convex surface and glue.

We take as a basis a gray cardboard sheet with a beautiful, noble pattern. We measure a rectangle of the size we need a postcard.

To make it more interesting, we will stick a gray rectangle on a white thick cardboard so that a white frame forms around the edges. All that is needed for this is to draw a slightly larger rectangle on a white sheet.

White rectangle slightly larger than gray

Cut it out.

And stick a gray blank on top (in the center).

Now let's take care of the decoration. The basis of the design will be autumn maple leaves. We cut them out of velvet, coated or foiled cardboard (or felt) in red, yellow, orange and green.

We use the same stencil - the leaves should differ only in color.

Now we select beautiful phrase, a quote or a congratulation dedicated to the teacher, we print it in a decorative font on a small rectangle, display it and cut it out. We prepare in advance a narrow piece of paper with an interesting print (for example, a piece of wallpaper), equal to the height of the postcard.

We cut out a white cardboard rectangle of approximately the same size, on which we write the word “Diary” with a black marker and draw lines on which the personal data of the owner of the diary should be written. The edges of the diary can be slightly aged, made darker.

From ordinary gray and pale green corrugated cardboard we cut out the same rectangles with rounded corners, gray is a little more than green. From gray, we also cut out a narrow strip with a width equal to a rectangle.

Glue the green fragment to the center of the gray.

We glue a gray strip on top, and on it - round convex buttons prepared in advance. We get a briefcase with clasps.

We begin to collect postcards. In the middle of the base we paste a piece of wallpaper, on top - a text with congratulations, which we decorate around the perimeter with maple leaves.

We glue a briefcase and a diary from below, we also decorate them with maple leaves.
